0ld Iron Company was started in 1978 in Spencer, Iowa. The six original families enjoyed modifying and rebuilding old cars. Since that time OIC has grown to over 20 families of street rod and custom car enthusiasts. Members own cars ranging from rat rods of the ’20s, fat fendered rides from the ’30s& ’40s, winged customs of the ’50s, and even some Detroit muscle of the ’60s.
OIC offers three events every year. In February, we have a Garage Tour. At Spencer’s Flag Fest activities in June we host the Grand Cruise-In. And last but not least, we put on “The Worlds Only Micro-Mini Nationals” in August. |
